Implementation Analyst

The Implementation Analyst position is customer facing and will require a blend of both business and technical perspectives. Candidate should be able to communicate clearly and professionally, with an ability to balance business needs with technological capabilities.

Candidate must be a fast learner, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment. They must be able to work effectively as part of a team involving both co-workers and client personnel.

Candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to prepare effective presentations and present equally well in both Conference Call and face-to-face settings. Candidate must have an earnest desire to learn, an eagerness to grow both personally and professionally, and an ambition to progress to the Implementation Manager position, where they will lead projects in a team context.

An understanding of or past participation in the process of designing, establishing or testing integrations is a definite plus. Any significant exposure is a plus, regardless of method (API-based, web-service or FTP) or format (EDI, XML, CSV, HL7 or other). Some experience in change management strategy, planning and execution is also a plus. Candidate must have experience in key roles throughout the software implementation life-cycle.


  • Participating in facilitated client discovery sessions regarding requirements/info gathering and business process confirmation/mapping; must eventually be able to lead such sessions
  • Tracking the progress of fellow team members at clients and technology partners
  • Working with clients’ suppliers and helping them establish connections with our clients supply chain solutions
  • Assisting in the preparation of key client deliverables throughout the project life-cycle
  • Preparing well-organized project status reports and present them effectively in a Conference Call setting


  • Experience in gathering and documenting client requirements associated with primary or secondary enterprise-levelsoftware implementations
  • Experience with business process mapping and process analysis
  • A well-developed ability to identify critical factors in problem situations and conceive practical solutions and make sound software configuration recommendations
  • Experience providing input to Technical/Integration Analysts during the integration design process, as well as providing analysis and support to the Integration Analysts
  • Experience conceiving a testing approach for software implementation projects and developing comprehensive test plans
  • Identifying and documenting a comprehensive set of test case scenarios; documenting expected test results; arranging for adequate test data in support of test plans; supervising client testing activities
  • Assisting with trouble-shooting during the testing stage, working with client personnel to diagnose and arrange corrective actions
