CCP Global announced today that Best Buy Co., Inc. (NYSE: BBY), North America`s largest consumer electronics retailer, is using CCP global to implement its Ariba®, Inc. (Nasdaq: ARBA) procurement solution, in an effort to reduce two of its biggest overhead costs – indirect goods and travel expenses.

CCP global, the third largest Ariba systems integrator, provides significant change management expertise, along with strategic sourcing and procurement knowledge to support companies during the design and installation of new procurement and sourcing systems.

With an initial implementation of four months, CCP global has helped Best Buy capture the individual spending for items such as office supplies, computers, services, business forms and travel expenses. By the summer of 2002, 500 Best Buy stores and Best Buy corporate offices are expected to be using the Ariba® Spend Management™ solution.
