This update to SAP Procurement offers a number of functionality advances for the Contracts module, quality of life improvements for Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Management, and some User Interface enhancements for Ariba Procurement. The largest portion of this update relates to Upstream improvements.

There are quite a few updates/improvements, we have identified several that we think are important for you as the end user and have listed them in detail below.
PLICM-4327 Admins may now select feature toggles directly without needing SAP. This allows for a more responsive test and deployment cycle, and a smoother transition from test to production environments.
CUP-18589 Append or update line items in contracts from a sourcing award without manual amendment of the contract workspace
This new feature allows access to a contract workspace in Draft, Draft Amendment, or Published status from the sourcing award page and update line items information without manually changing the status of the CW.
CUP-20758 Show integration date for line items exported to external systems
This displays the integration date, along with creation date, and modification date of line items in CLIDs that are integrated with external systems
UP-845 Disable ActiveX
Disable SAP Ariba Active X components that are used for Desktop File Sync (DFS) and legacy contract authoring
CATMAN-467 AI generated strategic category recommendations, which efficiently analyzes category data and market dynamics. This helps develop strategies inline with business objectives.
Import and export line items in large capacity Contract Line Item Documents (1000+ lines) using Simplified Excel Import functionality via turning on in Intelligent Configuration manager.
Ability to Include Line Item Details in Approval Tasks previously users were only able to send header level information
Redesigned Item Details Page the redesigned item details page introduces a more responsive design and additional details that help users locate information about items more quickly. The header section now displays a link to the supplier’s detail page along with multiple images of the item, and more details.
