Integration support for SAP Ariba is becoming more complex as the supply chain moves toward more collaborative, digital solutions. A connected, agile IT landscape serves as the foundation for a successful business. SAP integration requires the right technology, a strategic approach to connect SAP and third-party systems, and a means of enabling your organization to achieve success.
SAP’s intelligent source-to-pay framework delivers integrated data, governance, and user experience. From standard SAP Ariba with Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) to middleware implementation, RPA and complex custom integrations with SAP ECC, S/4HANA and other third-party systems, you need the RIGHT support to ensure your systems communicate seamlessly.
Linking new or existing systems into the SAP Ariba landscape can be a challenging process. CCP Global’s unique, customized approach is a particularly good fit for small- to mid-market companies with more limited in-house resources. It allows our clients to phase in systems as their staffing and budget allows, while still achieving a straightforward integration that targets effective systems, engaged users, and ongoing success. We can help you to define your systems landscape, timeline, scope, and resources so you can achieve your long-term architecture goals.
A realistic integration strategy is crucial to provide the tools your organization needs to meet the rapidly changing supply chain landscape. When building your integration plan, it’s important to consider the specific needs and goals of your organization, especially depending upon the number of integrations required and the customizations that already exist in the other systems.
New integration deployments are often challenging for customers that are trying to implement new functionality without any downtime or confusion. CCP Global integration consultants are well-versed in the planning, preparation, program management, communication, training, and have the deep system expertise needed to guide a smooth transition.
A multi-billion-dollar chemical company was struggling with slow, inefficient processes due to multiple systems and outdated procedures. CCP Global was chosen to configure, design and deploy Ariba Buying and Invoicing. That included Guided Buying, Procurement Operations Desk, Tactical Sourcing, and all associated workflows. Because of the complexity of the project, it was deployed in two phases. Go Live was an outstanding success with limited issues and overwhelmingly positive feedback from users. The company eventually contracted with CCP Global’s Ariba Managed Services (AMS) for extended support and administration.
For over 15 years, CCP Global has provided support for a major media and entertainment corporation’s strategic SAP Ariba projects. Most recently, CCP has been supporting Source-to-Pay (S2P) business transformation. The current deployment phase is focused directly on SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing. This is a holistic approach to transforming the Global S2P processes being driven by the business, in partnership with their Organizational Change Management (OCM) and their technology partners. From the technology perspective, this entails sunsetting SAP Ariba On-Premise and standing-up their SAP Ariba On-Demand applications. In addition, as the suppliers are on-boarded, they will transact within the Buying and Invoicing feature of AOD.
