Which SAP Ariba customers will be affected by this?

Customers that are using integrations or Single Sign-On (SSO) functionality with the Business Network using the URLs listed above. To ensure connectivity with the Business Network, your IT team will need to replace the expiring/existing certificates with the new certificate(s) after the certificate update has completed on February 22, 2024.

What should SAP Ariba customers do now to prepare for this?

  • SAP Ariba customers should have their IT department review their current configurations for integrations, APIs, or Single Sign-On (SSO) to determine if they are impacted by the change.
  • If impacted, the IT department will need to download the new certificate(s) from the SAP Ariba Public DigiCert Web Server Certificates page. Do not remove or replace the existing certificate(s) with the new ones until the certificate update process is complete.
  • After the certificate update process has been completed on February 22, 2024, import the new certificate(s) and replace the existing certificate(s).
  • Once completed, ensure connectivity to SAP Ariba for the following:

    • Connection to SAP Ariba via Single Sign-On (SSO)
    • Punchout Connection using the specified URLs
    • Legacy EDI Suppliers using the specified URLs
